This is a slash fanfiction and discussion list for HBO's Deadwood.

Current list guidelines:

• A spoiler notice (either episode title/number or the word "spoilers") at the beginning of the subject line is required for one week after an episode first airs to allow everyone to see the episodes unspoiled if they so choose. Spoiler space is not required.
• Historical events are not considered spoilers. However, info in the subject line that you're talking about historical information would be a considerate notice to allow those who don't wish to be spoiled the choice whether or not to read your post at that time.
• If you read posts about episodes that you haven't seen yet, don't whine when you find out something that you may not want to know.
• You must be an adult to be on this list. Currently age statements are not required and list membership is not restricted, but this could change if I see the need.
• No real person (RPS)/actor slash. Only fic based on the characters as they're shown on the show is allowed. (A fine line, true, considering many of the characters are historical people, but still.)
• On-topic posts for this list include: fanfiction (of any shade: slash, gen, het; just label it correctly), fanfic announcements, fanfic discussion, Old West history and information, episode discussion, etc.
• Please limit off-topic posts. Place "OT" in the subject line if you absolutely feel the need to post on a topic only slightly related to the show. Multiple OT posts over and over will get your membership moderated. More OT posts after that will get you unsubscribed.
• No virus notices, spam, joke-only emails, etc. I have a very low tolerance for that sort of idiocy.
