Claire bolted awake. Someone was pounding on her front door and Pavlov was barking.

"All right, all right. I'm coming." She shouted as she walked to the door. Undoing the locks, Claire threw open the door. Hobbes was standing on the other side, drenched from the rain.

"Bobby? What's wrong?"

He grabbed her and kissed her. His lips were demanding. Claire sank against him weakly. After a moment, he released her.

"I love you Claire." He said and turned back down the front path.

Claire watched him go, dumbfounded. "I love you too Bobby." She whispered and went back inside.
