TO THE NEW MEMBERS: 

This infoletter is posted to update new and old members of the list to what the list and webpage has to offer them.  Be assured, if you have posted a story/poem to the list, I'll get it into the archive sooner or later, but because of the huge amount of lists I own and archive, I am constantly playing catch-up.  There are stories to be read onlist that have not yet made the archive.  That said, to find a list of MLs fueling the archives, you can go directly to the ML page or contact me and I'll send you the list privately.

Independent list moms/dad, check that I included your list at the end of this page. I use this page to reference which lists (other than my own) I'm supposed to be archiving. If I've forgotten to mention it, I may very well need a gentle reminder...Or never received the confirmation post due to my ever bouncing emails 

There are several things our website offers that may or may not be of interest to you.

First:  ALWAYS enter the site through the two homepage URLs. Contact me for these, cuz the site has been bounced several times so its prone to change. Bookmarking an independent page inside the archive may bring you to an obsolete page as I change web servers or update a glitching page onto a new site.

Second: The What's New page has been discontinued. Instead updates are posting to MakeBelieve-subscribe@yahoogroups.com  If you want to know what's been added, this is where to go.  (This list also accepts submissions for the website. If you post a story there, it WILL be considered a submission and posted.)

Third: Instead of my sending out a newsletter with list challenges, there is now a list that posts regular challenges to the WWOMB members and guests.   You can exchange your challenges at:

You are still encouraged to post challenges and foundations to the list you are on.  The challenges will be archived at the Plot Bunnies page on the website, crediting the list that it originated on. We've got a great deal of interesting challenges already.  Check them out for a giggle.

Fourth:  There are several files available to list members, including a links/Bookmarks section where you can add your favorite links. List sibs with URLs, do take a moment to include your site on the bookmarks section at yahoogroups.com. the rest of you, to make use of any of them. 

If you have a pic to share with the list, post it to the Shared Files section.  I've gotten very leery of attachments.  The shared files is a safer option.

Fifth:  Our list of betas just keeps growing.   If you would like to be included on this page, send me a list of the fandoms you can read for. 

Sixth: Have a list of favorite characters you would like to lock away in your own private harem? Send me a list of the players and include the fandom. (I've lifted the limit, so have fun with it)

Seventh: Authors, share the muses who inspire you with the list.  The Temple Of Muses is open for new faces. 

Eighth: Several of the fandoms have Keepers pages. If you want to be included, just send your claimed bit. If your fandom hasn't got a Keepers page yet, send it in anyway ad we'll get one started. 

New features and fun pages are being added to the archive all the time.  Come play in our corridors often

And Finally:  We have been developing something of a writers resource/newbie section on the website.   Some of the new pages include a terminology page of slash and BDSM/Sexual definitions, a page of misused/spelled words and a page of tips for the new writer.  We welcome any tips or additions you might like to include.  You can post them directly to the list since that doubles my chances of having them get through, as well as can stimulate other additions.
